Press release – 12 September 2024 14.00
Stockholm, Sweden – Initiative 1415 are happy to present the launch of their new initiative, Project Nature Restoration, which aims to support and strengthen biodiversity in Sweden. Through following governmental guidelines created by the Environmental Protection Agency and County Administrative Board, we are working to establish a more resilient and diverse natural environment.

To restore and enhance our natural habitats is a necessity for the purpose of enhancing biodiversity. Project Nature Restoration represents an important step in the right direction, says Christoffer Bonde, CEO at Initiative 1415.

The four parts of the project:

  • Specific measures for threatened arts & species
  • Nature conservation burning
  • Restoration of calcerous fens, which serve as important habitats for many arts & species
  • Fighting invasive species threatening the indigenous flora & fauna.

More want to have the opportunity to contribute something to nature restoration, and to assist in the ongoing work through smaller monthly contributions.  That is the reason behind this new product, which also builds upon what many companies are requesting.  Initiative 1415 offer a solution whereby companies pay 4900 SEK per month during a period of 24 months, giving them participatory rights to 1/3 share in a project which contributes to preserving and enhancing biodiversity.  We see Project Nature Restoration as a kick-off for allocating measures for our natural environment and to maintain healthy ecosystems that in turn provide the ecosystem services we humans are entirely dependent upon.
